I took that quiz that's going around. If the questions asked were all that mattered, maybe the results would line up better with my preferences. No worries; I'm not voting for Gravel...

Bold what you have read, italicize what you started but couldn't finish, strike through what you couldn't stand, and underline the ones you own but haven't read. The numbers after each one are the number of LibraryThing users who used the tag of that book.

with such a crowded Presidential field for '08, choosing a candidate to support can be exhausting. thankfully (and predictably) there's an internet quiz to make the decision for you!
apparently i'm supposed to vote for Obama. i guess i can stop paying attention now...
my results below.

it's hard to answer general qualitative questions honestly and accurately. so the publicity machine at The Golden Compass allows the input of friends and peers (and strangers who stumble on your blog in the timeframe allowed).
pasted below is my preliminary result; i took the quiz twice and got the same animal.
for the next twelve days, i think, you can click through and say you disagree with the bot's assessment of me. or just take the quiz and get your own companion. or just roll your eyes about all the ways i find to procrastinate.
maybe i'll try to re-read the Pullman books this summer (as downtime from preparing for comp exams in the fall).
anyway:
